smol-goon: I hate being 5 7" and an XL. Most shirts are just too long in the size I need. Usually have to hem so I don't feel like I'm wearing a dress. Some shirts at XXL come in at 30" length.

matthewgrant7867: Great video Jonathan! I’m one of those people who see the price of a t shirt as one of diminishing return. A Uniqlo supima works great for me and lasts a long time. And if I get a tea stain on it - I won’t lose sleep. If I paid $200 for a white tea I would probably put it behind glass and never wear it out! :)
To each their own I say - variety is the spice of life and while I may not spend $$$ on a tee shirt I’ll go spend $$$ on some high end shoes or a jacket. So they’ll get my money one way or the other :)

thesartorialthesis: 15:06 I love my Merz b. Schwanen 2S14s. They’re built like tanks —it feels like putting on body armor, in the best possible way.
My only gripe is that I wish the neck opening were a bit tighter. That’s been true across every one in my rotation, so it doesn’t seem to be a one-off issue.
They’re definitely not cheap, but I think the long-term cost-per-wear makes them well worth it. FWIW, I followed those pesky care instructions you mentioned, and they still look as good to me as the day I got them.
ConjuredUp: I like the oversized boxy fit for tees and I've found that blank providers have some of the best stuff at good pricing. WATC in Portugal has some of the best heavy, boxy blanks I've tried on. The fabric feel of the MERZ B. SCHWANEN loopwheel stuff is great, but the price is wild.

freddiedsg: I work in Uniqlo, the basic U t-shirt is always the best in terms of affordability quality. Especially layering the piece for work. However, the longer I work there, the more I want to experiment with other brands in my day-to-day.
Recently I bought a Foxfibre henley from WonderLooper, this is by far one of the best quality pieces in my wardrobe. It's seriously made me think about buying the matching t-shirt for £140.
