notl33t: i love the tailoring tip. if you have a needle and thread or access to a sewing machine, 15 minutes and you'll have a tshirt that just fits your body so much better! the trick of buying a slightly bigger shirt is something you need to do if you're altering--too small and you run out of fabric. tailoring/altering a tshirt is especially awesome if your body proportions don't match most shirts: the expectation is fridge or inverted triangle and the reality can be far from that. i have a bigger waist/midsection and a shorter torso than expected, so altering my shirts on my own helps me look more put together, taller . . . but my midsection just looks the way it looks, not that my wife minds.
