Quilt WIPs from the last 15 years and Sewing my First Tshirt!
tlolovestats: You can disable and enable the knife on your serger. There is a little switch for it. I use mine to hem all the time
michellem8284: I love it when you share quilting!
cherylcordova8455: Comfy looking t-shirt. Have you thought of sizing down a size on your clothing and knitting. You look marvelous since loosing weight and you have a really cute shape, you need to show it off! I need to go through my bins too. I know I have a completed Corriander quilt in one of them! It’s just too fun to get started on a new project!
miriamp.675: Just because you started a quilt project as a large quilt doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. I have taken those types of projects and decided I could be happy with table runners. Great way to use the sewn blocks into a useful project. You could also take incomplete quilt project blocks and make bags or project bags. Look at an unfinished quilt project in a different light. Quick and easy way to empty those project bins. It is a win win! No guilt!
karistutzman8381: Scrappy quilts are easier if you just let yourself just do it!! Don't over think it! Just do it. It will be so cute.
texstylust: The best part of watching you complete a project is the smile of delight on your face! There are a lot of things you can do with your serger that you might not be aware of. First, you can disengage the knife and most of all; you can make your own active wear with flat seams. It’s worth investing the time to take a class or two.
Allsmilesgirl277: That’s it- I’m comin’ over, and I’m bringing some crafts with me
nancytate4582: Hi Liz! You are so prolific—I’m so impressed! I also quilt, cross stitch, knit and crochet and there is just not enough time for everything! Love your quilt WIP’s and I’m going to do several of those patterns!
anitahayne8621: Really enjoyed this video. I loved seeing the quilt wips. Some of them are really beautiful. I too get overwhelmed by cutting instructions which leads to a lot of starts and stops.
Quilt4Joy: I started a project before that was from a magazine I had. I forgot which magazine and had to go through every magazine just to find it. It took forever, but I did eventually find it.
Quilt4Joy: I’m not taking on any new projects this year; nope. I’m only working on WIPS for the rest of the year. I made a list of all my wips and I plan to complete 2 a month. I’ll feel so much better getting them done.
Knit_with_sprinkles_NH: I love your positive energy and watching your videos. All your WIPs make me feel better about mine. I’m fantastic at starting them too.
dawsonsstitchery: The T-shirt turned out so good!
scottydog6539: You can set aside one day a week to only work on the projects in those containers. I have many of those also.
JHutch18062: Loved your wips. I use those same containers for my projects. They work so well plus you can see into them without opening. That way it’s all together when I want to start.
toric2547: I love the quilt videos! I have so many quilt wips and kits it's insane. Loved hearing you have 10yr old wips, that makes me feel so much better. I also knit and it's the same situation there hahah you should sell some of your wips, people love to buy UFOs!
CindyKunstman: The flag ones would make nice place mats if you decide not to finish the quilt haha
IndecisiveQuilter: Thank you for showing me your WIP boxes :) I really need to make your patchwork picnic quilt.
I'll leave you with this.. strawberry t-shirt with red ruffle sleeves
reneeriley6629: So impressed! the organization and sewing! Yes, we have the projects and enjoy them all. Thanks for videoing Be Well
Craftywithwords: Oooooh! T-shirts are my favorite sewing projects. Take a look at Pamela's Patterns. Her t-shirt patterns are great and a bit more shapely than just a box cut. She gives you lots of neck, sleeve, and hem variations, too. I love how your craft room is coming together. Congratulations on getting such a great space!
SuzanneStutzle: I know the feeling when something you are sewing works out just right. Your T-shirt pattern will be so useful. When you're on a good thing, stick with it hey. Love it.
sandykalmeyer9523: Fun video. I may try that T-shirt pattern. I learned to sew knits when Stretch and Sew was popular. I loved them. Made tons of T-shirts for myself and the family. Love yours!
lindam4875: You have a busy life; I bet your Mum would love to help you out with finishing some of those beautiful quilt projects - wouldn't it be wonderful to see them on display rather than sitting in boxes on shelves?
christinedoiron9742: I started that same Christmas movie quilt! Maybe I will pull it out and work on it this holiday season! Now I just need to find it!!
amyb.894: The t-shirt is so cute. That strawberry fabric would be fabulous. You'll have to share if you enf up making it.
NEM9135: Love the tshirt and I would love to get back into to clothes sewing but my quilting and cross stitch gets in the way. Maybe try soldi red sleeves on the strawberry tshirt to match the neckline.
kellyhipkins5616: So enjoyed this episode. Love organizing. Great job. And sometimes I get so depressed when I mess up in fabric so glad I’m not the only one but save that for EPP love that yellow. And the t shirt you made is just beautiful on you. You make it look so easy lols. You’re such an inspiration Liz. Keep up being you!!! Love from Ohio
