What Really Makes a BestSelling TShirt Design Print on Demand
Magnanimous17: The second shirt is actually pretty funny too, I would wear it, I love a good chuckle.
P.S. I was the 1st to hype this video! I love to hype videos that resonate with me & your videos do frequently!
JayKerr: This is a great explanation and the examples are perfect. I’ve watched a lot of t-shirt design videos and yours are by far the best for explaining strategy. Thanks!
debbiemason8342: Do t-shirts designs sell better on the back of the shirt or on the front?
KevinEimers-zl6hp: Meg do you think after 9 weeks of mockup testing and we cannot break through 1.15 cpc means we should just start over and change our niche or what? We listen to your advice made the good changes and followed the data and we still can’t break through!!! Not sure if metas new update is part of it, but this is getting so discouraging I just want to get through this part! Don’t know what else to try :(
TheseusTitan: Being graphic and industrial designer, composition is extremely important. Design A is scattered without a central focus (poor composition). Something in a composition has to be the most important aspect and design A doesn’t have that. It also has too many little details with nothing memorable.
Design B allows the eye to focus on its design. Design A doesn’t have contrast, lacks line delineation and no dramatic color. Design B does have those elements. Neither is a great design. B is just worse. One thing I like about design B is the way the black trees were created via the negative space between the mountains and teal trees.
One thing to remember is a graphic is not a realistic image. It’s simplified and easier for the eye to grasp.
darcysanderson3217: Very helpful thank you Meg!
Kittldesign: Great explanation!
gary111498: Thanks Meg!! Always great!!
richm34: Spot on! Thanks for sharing.
musicteacherengel: Great insight! Thank you, Meg.
CalmDelight777: Thank you for the excellent tutorial!
clickcoastal: This is very helpful. Now to look into if it applies to my designs.
ZoltanJaromi: More, more, more..
tedmanville1: Thank you meg
christopherperdue3334: Great info. I came up with a brand concept that uses humor and relatability I am currently developing. This video encourages me that perhaps I am on the right track. Graphics will not be overcomplicated, but fun. I started with a store featuring Christian designs, which I will also continue with. No sales, yet, but working in my spare time, and just started about 3 weeks ago.
bluewater56: Hello. I just recently came across your channel. All of this information is great. I’ve been doing homework on this subject for quite a while now. I think that I have a unique niche T-shirt idea that I’ve been working on for quite a bit and I’m up around 20 designs. I wonder is it a good idea to copyright original designs or the T-shirt company itself. This is where I’m running into a little bit of Struggle. I know ideas can be stolen or modified to look like they’re not and I’m unsure what to do. I appreciate all your videos. They Have a lot of great information in them. They are providing a lot of great information and I can see where changes need to be made as I continue to progress. I already have a brand and the website domain, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten when it comes to that.
sjknight7582: Hi Meg, for this.
With your accelerator, how would the time zone difference work with sessions as I’m in the UK?
Digitalprguy: Its not for everyone because To stsrt this business a person should be creative and have good knowledge in designs
Patricio-s1h: Hi Meg. Great video. I’m currently running a 4 day DPA campaign on my 100 designs. My main concern is that I’m afraid $50 isn’t enough for Facebook to determine if I have any winners because so few designs get any spend. I wanted to know how you make sure potential winners don’t go untested on a small budget. Do you retest designs with no spend and prune losers?
Courtney-Alice-Gargani: If you do make 10 designs, you still won't know which one will be a bestseller and others will just get decent amount of sells? Isn't hard to predict?
jackielynetis9021: Hi Meg! I am on my 3rd Design Test using the winning mockup I developed and tested using the WeScale method. My designs are iterations of designs that gained significant clicks from previous tests. No sales yet. I am using Gildan 64000 shirt. Do you advise lowering my shirt price below 29.99 for S to XL (and also lowering 2XL and 3XL prices) to get better CTR, CPC and maybe encourage sales? Great content as always.
MysticMary-g9s: Over designing was my biggest hurtle. Now that I have gone simple and bold I see a huge difference.
CindySimpson-h8o: Such a fantastic explanation! Thank you for this video!
arcticbluebells5308: On design A, change the eagle to flying in the sky at the top of the picture, completely cut off everything below the jeep (you've got 2 mountains and skies - one sky above the other sky, it's weird and doubling up), add a slightly more contrasting 2nd color, delete the "less worries" and stick with the just "more nature". Do that and someone like me would buy this.
DistractedDaisy: I'm an artist and love design 1 but design 2 is totally me and it's nice too. Hard choice! lol!
ScarabocçcièScrìtura: ,.... I don't think the "out of breath" mean what u think it means(princess bride) ,...... I think it means ,........ that the hiker is "out of breath" because of the beauty of the view from on top of the mountains ,...... takes ones breath away.
takipappas: Here’s my concern and I would appreciate your response. I have several designs and I’m concerned as soon as I post them out on the Internet somebody in China is gonna copy the design and do it cheaper. How do you combat a response? Thank you.
